Sgt. Jereme Stauss
Jereme Stauss has been with the Sisseton Police Department since May 2007.   Jereme is a Patrol Officer with the department.  Officer Stauss grew up in Sioux Falls, and that is where Jereme joined the Police Explorers  and held ranks from Sergeant to Captain. Jereme's 8 yrs. in the Police Explorers peeked his interest in Law Enforcement leading him to attend and graduate from Southeast Technical Institute with an Associates Degree in Law

 

Enforcement Science. Jereme is proud to be part of the Sisseton community.

 
 

Officer Brandon Akers
Brandon began working for the Sisseton Police Department in February 2011.  Brandon grew up in Cambridge, Minnesota.  Having three
generations of law enforcement in his family, Brandon knew at an early age that he was going to pursue a career in law enforcement.  While in high school he gained valuable experience volunteering for the Minnesota
Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Brandon is a graduate of Alexandria Technical College.
 

Officer Brock Nelson
Brock began working for the Sisseton Police Department in March of 2011.  Brock grew up in Sisseton.  He moved to Sioux Falls to attend the University of Sioux Falls and graduated with bachelor degrees in criminal justice and sociology.  Brock will be the School Resource Officer and is looking forward to serving his home community.

 

 


Officer Darrell Thompson
Darrell grew up in Milaca MN.  He attended and graduated from Milaca High School.  After high school Darrell attended Alexandria Technical College.  In May 2010 he received his associates degree in law enforcement.  While at college Darrell worked for the Pope County Sheriff's Office.  Darrell has also worked for the Roberts County Sheriff's Office as a jailer.
