Officer Jerad Warkenthien
Jerad was hired in June 2007. Jerad was a Sioux Falls Police Explorer for 8 years, 6 of those years as a supervisor. Jerad is a May 2007 graduate of SouthEast Technical Institute with a Associates degree in Law Enforcement Science. Jerad is excited to be working with the citizens of Sisseton.

   
 

Sgt. Mark Marte
Mark moved to the Sisseton area in October 1995. He became a certified police officer in the summer of 1997. Mark has worked as a Patrol Officer, Corporal, and is presently the Sergeant.  Sgt. Marte has worked with the youth of the community and "Pedal Power from the Pen" and has provided hundreds of bikes to the Sisseton Youth. Mark is committed to working in Sisseton and loves the people and community.
 
  Corporal Jereme Stauss
Jereme Stauss has been with the Sisseton Police Department since May 2007.   Jereme is a Patrol Officer with the department.  Officer Stauss grew up in Sioux Falls, and that is where Jereme joined the Police Explorers  and held ranks from Sergeant to Captain. Jereme's 8 yrs. in the Police Explorers peeked his interest in Law Enforcement leading him to attend and graduate from Southeast Technical Institute with an Associates Degree in Law

  Enforcement Science. Jereme is proud to be part of the Sisseton community.
   
  Officer Kasey Metz
Kasey Metz is the School Resource Officer for the Sisseton Public Schools. A long time resident of the Sisseton area, growing up in Browns Valley, MN and graduating from the Sisseton High School.  In the past year Kasey attended the Law Enforcement Academy in Pierre and successfully completed the academy, to become a certified police officer.  Also, Kasey attended School Resource Officer
  training to become a certified SRO. Kasey is excited to be in the school and working with the youth of Sisseton in cooperation with the school's staff to make our school a safe place for everyone. Kasey's time is also spent coaching at the school. This year coaching football and wrestling.  In Kasey's spare time, he enjoys archery hunting and being with his family and friends.
 
Officer Lance Hochstatter
Lance began working for the Sisseton Police Department in September of 2008.  Lance grew up in Sioux Falls where he attended Southeast Technical Institute and earned his Associates Degree in Law Enforcement
Science.  Lance was also a member of the Sioux Falls Police Explorer Post for 6 years, completing the program with the rank of Captain. Lance is glad to be part of the Sisseton Community.
